There is only one feature in this game, so everything revolves around Explosion Wilds dropping down to hit Taco Wilds. This spreads wilds to new positions in 3 different ways, while upgrading the Explosion Wild with a multiplier each time until the sticky wilds respin. The max win is a measly533x your stake, so this low volatility installment is clearly aimed at casual punters.
You need at least 3 matching symbols on adjacent reels from the uttermost left to the right to win, and there are several different wild symbols in this game. All the different wild symbols have in common that they step in for pay symbols to help complete and/or improve wins, and this goes for the regularTaco Wildas well, of course.

We had a feeling NetEnt was gonna expand on their XXXtreme brand after the recent Milkshake XXXtreme, but there is hardly anything extreme about this game outside of the grotesque visual experience. The533x potentialcomes across as a bad joke in that regard, but at least the game’s low volatility is a match.
The game is not without entertainment value though, and zombie fans will probably enjoy what’s on offer here. However, we fail to see a common thread that binds such different titles as Starburst XXXtreme, Milkshake XXXtreme, and Taco Fury XXXtreme together. Perhaps that’s the point we’re missing though; that each release is supposed to be “extremely” different from the next. If that’s the case, NetEnt has succeeded so far, but we would have preferred more extreme math models in every installment, like you get in the original Starburst XXXtreme.
